Welcome To the North American Burn Society!

The North American Burn Society (NABS) was formed in 1983.

The goal of NABS is to share information and improve care for patients with burn injuries. 

NABS is a professional society dedicated to encourage camaraderie among burn and wound care professionals by providing an informal forum for the exchange of information on the science and practice of burn and wound care. Examples of past topics include prevention, research, critical care, surgical techniques, physical therapy and new products.

NABS provides an intimate and relaxed forum for the presentation of topics pertinent to the burn and wound care professional as well as the young investigator.
